 Great For The Back, Stylish & LightweightApr 07, 2007
This chair was very difficult to find using the search, but I am glad that I did find it. It is a very high quality product with lightweight, strong aluminum frame and comfortable, padded and shock corded fabric. Black is very attractive both inside and outside the house.
The best thing about it is that it is extremely comfortable and is actually restful for the back. The comfort is comparable to other anti gravity chairs that I own for 10 times the price. I have gone to sleep in this chair for hours. I use it as a gaming chair with my Xbox. I take it outside to lounge in the sun. The adjustable headrest is the perfect shape and amount of padding to support my neck.
I do have a couple areas for improvement. One is that there are some plastic levers by the armrests that are tightened in order to prevent the chair from changing position. These are not very ergonomic and not completely dependable. The other is that it is not easy to unfold the chair. There is a trick to it that almost requires that you have a third hand. However, once you sit in the chair it is very easy to lean back and adjust your position. Overall, I highly recommend this chair.

I HAD MY EYE ON A COPY OF THIS CHAIR BUT THANKFULLY IT WAS OUT OF STOCK. I ADMIT, I WAS RELUCTANT TO PAY WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A LOT OF MONEY AND I WASN'T TOO CRAZY ABOUT THE COLOR BLACK.
IT ARRIVED FULLY ASSEMBLED (Looking back at the cheaper copy, it would have been in a million pieces and I'm not handy AT ALL!) SO THAT ALONE WAS REALLY GREAT. IT WAS READY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX.
THE DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT HADN'T REALLY TOLD ME THAT I COULD JUST FOLD IT UP AND THAT IT TOOK UP LITTLE SPACE TO DO SO. BUT, THAT IS ALSO TERRIFIC.
THE CHAIR IS COMFORTABLE, JUST FABULOUS AND IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PURCHASES IN THE LAST MONTH. NOW I CAN'T IMAGINE NOT HAVING THIS RECLINER WHICH I USE DAILY WHEN I GO ON MY PORCH TO CATCH A SMOKE. IM GONNA MISS IT WHEN I PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO BRING IT INDOORS AND STORE IT FOR THE SUMMER. I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND HAVE A WESTERN EXPOSURE THAT HAS ALWAYS BLEACHED FABRIC ITEMS AND I DONT THINK THIS CHAIR CAN WITHSTAND THE DIRECT SUN OR THE INCREDIBLE HEAT. IT IS TOO HOT TO USE MY PORCH MOST OF THE SUMMER MONTHS BUT I AM SURE THAT I WILL MISS USING BOTH IT AND THE RECLINER AT THAT TIME.
ANYWAY, REALLY GLAD IT CAME FULLY ASSEMBLED AND FOR NOW AM LOVING THE CHAIR WHICH DOES WELL EVEN IN THE RAIN. IT DRYS VERY FAST AND IS SO COMFORTABLE I OFTEN FALL ASLEEP IN IT. GREAT PRODUCT.

Lafuma--Very relaxing!Aug 17, 2006
I purchased this padded recliner for my dad as a gift. He enjoys it, and so does everyone who tries it out. It is well built and moves smoothly. The only problem is the fabric covering which may fade and can stain easily. Otherwise I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a nice comfortable summertime chair. It folds up quickly for storage or transport and is light/easy to carry.
This Lafuma came with a two year warranty. A friend bought a "knock off" (half the cost) version of this recliner. A summer of moderate use and it's ready for the dumpster. I will spend the extra money to buy a Lafuma for myself.

These chairs are amazing... sit down lie back and float away... Well worth the price and they come assembled.
